Koopa Queen by Jon Tsuda

Hidey-ho Hoodlums, I'm back for another round of procrastination. Rather then polishing up my own work like I should be doing, I've taken it upon myself to spruce up the work of people that're better then me.

In all seriousness though I had intended on doing my own take of Tsuda's take on a gender-swapped Bowser, but I gave up and wanted to do this up, since he hadn't and I wanted to. Oh what a shame it would be to let such plush, succulent fruit, wither on the vine.

But I did have a lot of fun with this, as it also helped me break in the new Surface Pro, particularly inking up his lines. I like going over artists work, seeing how they draw and nothing will get you closer then inking up a sketch. I particularly like the volumes of the ladies he draws, comparatively to lots of old school anime where all the girls are drawn paper thin, so I like seeing characters with a good sense of body without being overkill.

So if you like my work at all, the I'd heartily recommend taking a look at his work, and hell, chip in towards his Pateron if you can manage it.
