This took me long enough to finish, but I’m happy to say that I’ve finally finished off my half of the art trade I had with *DarkerEve.
To which he produced this gem...
... Seriously, several varieties of Epic.
So I suppose the one thing that I’m not liking is my line-art, I don’t really think I did Maya and J.D. justice if you were to compare line-arts. The anatomy in general was a bit of hassle, because I really tried to emulate his style. But the flawed sense of perspective sort of ruins it. But hey, at least it’s better than what I was producing a year ago.
When I was conceptualizing this piece I was listening to 'Addicted to Bass' (by Puretone) and 'Satisfaction' (by Benny Benassi), I felt that it suited the feel that I was going for initially. But then it drifted to something more along the lines of 'Don’t Hold Back' (by the Potbelleez) and 'Vision' (by Pendulum). Just some thought process for ya.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis work shows an unfortunate lack of knowledge of anatomy.
The girl on the left has skin bulging out awkwardly and inhumanly from her dress (i.e. her legs are grossly plump). The anatomy is very inaccurate, and while exaggeration may have been the point, this goal is achieved beyond its means and ends up looking rather unpleasant.
The angle of the blue haired girl's right arm on her shoulder looks very strange.
The hips especially need work. The hips and shoulders should be the widest part of a woman's body, so for her thighs to be wider, looks inhuman.
The background is interesting and fun to look at.
The right girl's dress is nicely done. There is also a good use of colour.
