I wish to reply to SolitaryLapTopTVLove
with the following, however they've blocked me for having a decenting opinion (don't they all).
"What I see is a hyper sensitive "fan" jumping the gun. Acting like a spoilt brat because the owners of the property saw fit to do as they please. DmC did not wipe the rest from history, but the "fans" only proved just how toxic and loathsome the game industry could be.
The "fans" started crying foul, a mass cacophony of monkey’s howling like a bunch of insipid fools at the first reveal trailer. No Gameplay was shown.
So my point still stands firmly. The "fans" are a toxic blight on any franchise. The most foolish thing I’ve done to date was responding to you."
He left a comment responding to very inflammatory:
To which I called the "fans" of Devil May Cry an bunch of whiney douche nozzles to be frank. Try and keep it civil, he's passionate (maybe a bit too passionate) and could not temper his tongue. I'm asking help for a postman, not a pitchfork wielding mob.
And when I say quote Fans end-quote, I'm talking about the tireless obsessive’s that spend their days drooling over the franchise of choice and go out of their way to keep the status quo, they hate change, they hate alterations, and they hate anybody who doesn't agree with them 100%.
In this day and age of industry stagnation, reboots and reimagining’s are probably the next best thing towards getting something new.
As far as DmC is concerned I did find it a tad lacklustre, but then I'm not usually one for Hack and Slashers. However I will probably take some time to finish it because the environments where gorgeous and creative, and to you know, spite Fanboys.
Thank you to those that can pass on the above message, and sorry for not being more active with the work. Trying to get the most out of the PS4 and all.
